ber hallo. Wir haben Ferien. Frühlingsferien, nur leider merke ich nichts davon, wenigstens was das Wetter betrifft. Nach einem trüben Samstag, nun also noch ein ebenso trüber Sonntag. Aber zum Glück kann ich Socken stricken, das geht fast von alleine, und daneben ist viel Zeit zum Nachdenken oder Hörbuch („Wenn das Schlachten vorbei ist“, von T.C. Boyle) geniessen. Rabenschwarz kann ich da nur sagen. Langweiliger Sonntag?

Hello, hello! It’s a holiday, spring break, for heaven’s sake. I don’t feel like it at all, especially when it comes to the weather. After a grey Saturday, all I can see and feel is a grey and depressing Sunday (maybe it’s just a hormonal thing). Today is one of those days I’m deeply grateful for the people who taught me knitting. I’m knitting socks besides thinking about the meaning of life and listening to a novel by T. C. Boyle („When the killing’s done“, in German), my husband’s birthday present. This story is not grey it is darkest black. Boring Sunday?
My ultimate advice: Don’t be bored – knit socks!

Grey days are perfect for knitting and crocheting. I really like those socks.
How can you be bored knitting those colorful socks? I took it easy all day and crocheted my vest. I haven’t been at this project for a month so had to go back and reread the directions. I think time alone and a bit of knitting or crochet is perfect. Hope you have a nice break.
