The weather is not what I has hoped the last weeks. Nevertheless I went for a short walk yesterday which was quite nice. At least the sky changes its look all the time, similar to my finished Color Affection Shawl. After that much blue and grey I’m longing for red. And there is a perfect match too: the lily – the only one in my garden – with its fervent colour. Beauty is everywhere, isn’t it? Let’s focus on it!
I’ve casted on 98 stitches on a circular needle and I am already on fire for my next project I’m showing you on Wednesday.
Your shawl is looking good and what a beautiful lily, great picture!
The shawl is lovely! The grey is the same as our skies here too 😦

Wow you moved fast! Nice shawl 😀
Beautiful shawl and beautiful flower! Can’t wait to see your wip.
You’re right, we need to trade weather a little bit. I’ll take some of your cloudy, rainy weather and you can have some of our BRIGHT and HOT. I think that colors of your shawl are lovely, and that lily is amazing. It’s as if it were aflame.
Looking at the bright side is the only way to look. It makes shouldering the rest of it possible.
Can’t wait to see what you’re working in with the red. It’s one of my favorite colors.
You’re so right when you say „Beauty is everywhere. Lets focus on it!“ It’s time to slow down and enjoy the small pleasures!
It’s not always easy, but the only way to „survive“ this craziness all around. 😉
What a gorgeous lily! Can’t wait to see your next project. You’re a knitting machine!
There is only one lily with two blooms for the third year in a row.
My mother had a knitting machine when we were children, and could knit a sweater in two evenings. That was quick. Unfortunatelly we grew the machine out.
I work part-time, the kids are gone and my husband’s hobby is computer. That gives me a lot of time for my hand crafts. 😉
The shawl is amazing. I have been into gray so much lately, don’t know what that is about. Love your beautiful flower.
Hugs,
Meredith
