Wenn ich reise, esse ich gerne regionale Speisen. Sie sind so fein, speziell und überhaupt, es geht ums Prinzip. Quiche im Elsass, Käse in Frankreich, Pizza und Spaghetti in Italien. Hamburger in den Staaten, Boston cream (Tim Hortons) in Kanada, Knödel in Österreich, Capusta in der Ukraine.
Ich habe in verschiedenen Ländern einheimische Schokolade probiert, das erste Mal mit 20 in Irland. Sie hatte eine schöne Verpackung und schmeckte süss, klebrig und irgendwie mehlig. Es mag ein Stereotyp sein, aber meine Lieblings Schokolade ist die Schweizer Schoggi. Sie ist und bleibt die beste. Möchtest du einen Beweis? I’ve eaten and tried chocolate in many countries, the first time when I was 20 years old, in Ireland. It was nicely wrapped and tasted sweet, sticky and floury. Babajezas feine Sockerei 
I love trying different kinds of chocolate. My favorite is Cadbury milk chocolate! Although truthfully, I’d rather have a lovely piece of cheese than a piece of chocolate. I know, I know…. I’m nuts.
My husband completely agrees with you! About prefering cheese, I mean. 😉

My favourite chocolate is another Swiss brand: Lindt. But the bars in your picture look delicious!
And hamburgers are delicious too (but not from MacDonald’s). A tavern in our village makes the best burger I ever tasted – a Mushroom Swiss burger. (Swiss again!) It’s a hamburger topped with Swiss cheese and grilled mushrooms. The cheese melts and it’s all heavenly.
Mhhh Schoggipause! Seit ich deine Katze ( die genähte) gesehen habe steht der Plan. Leider macht mir die Gesundheit zur Zeit einen Strich durch die Rechnung und das Büsiprojekt liegt auf Eis.
Etwas was ich mir jeden Tag gönne ist auch ein Täfeli Schokolade natürlich schweizer schoggi.
Das mit dem geniessen und dankbar sein für das gute was einem jeden Tag widerfährt finde ich eine weitere nachahmenswerte Anregung.

Swiss chocolate IS very good!! So is German chocolate! I lived in Heidelberg, W. Germany in the 80s and loved walking to town to visit the bakari. I enjoy your use of colors! You are very talented.

Oh, boy now you’re speaking my language?! (lol) Ambrose and our children are definitely Dutch, chocolate is lifeblood to them. Seriously.
You’ve gotten me to thinking about regional foods and what that would be here in the middle of the US. I shudder a little bit to think that Hamburgers are American to the rest of the world, but I can certainly see why. Hope you’re having a good weekend yourself.

Ich liebe deinen Blog!!! Schokolade mag ich auch sehr gerne,allerdings nur die mit hohem Kakaoanteil.Ob die Schweizer Schoggi gut schmeckt,weiß ich nicht ,aber ist es nicht so daß einem die Schoggi am besten schmeckt,die irgendwie Kindheitserinnerungen wach ruft?
