Kamel x Dromedar = Tulu – Arabian x Asian Camel = Tulu

Guten Morgen meine Lieben!

Ein herzlicher Gruss an alle, obwohl handarbeitsmässig nichts Neues läuft. Der Frühling zum draussen Sein und Spazieren ein. Vielleicht möchtet ihr ja einen Abstecher nach Olmerswil im Thurgau machen? Hier gibts auf dem Kamelhof auf grünen Wiesen und unter Apfelbäumen nämlich Kamele, Dromedare und Tulus zu sehen. Tulus sind übrigens die Kreuzung von Dromedarmama und Kamelpapa. Als wir dort waren, bekamen sie gerade Zvieri in der Scheune. http://www.kamelhof.ch ist die Adresse im Netz. Wenn ihr zu Fuss geht, vergesst nicht, euch  mit Sonnencrème einzuschmieren. Sonst gibts Sonnenbrand. Übringens werde ich bei meinem nächsten Besuch fragen, ob es Kamelwolle zu kaufen gibt.

I want to say hello although there’s not much up craftswise at my place, nothing new to be precise. Spring is inviting us to be outside and take a walk. For example to the Kamelhof at Olmerswil. There you can meet camels and Arabian camels and their off-spring, the tulus, on the green Thurgovian meadows and under apple trees. When I was there, they had supper in the barn. Check out www.kamelhof.ch. If you go there on foot these days, be careful not to get a sunburn. By the way, I’m going to ask if they have camel yarn the next time I’m there. 

Ich habe Garn gekauft. Vielleicht ist ja heute Zeit zum Wickeln.

I went yarn shopping. 🙂 I might have time to wind it into a ball this afternoon.
