A Pile of Happiness – Solange es noch Knäuelchen hat

Do you want proof that spring has arrived where I live? I can tell you that the meadows are green and that there are spring flowers everywhere. However, the air is chilly and I replaced the cotton shirt I have been wearing the last few days with a woolen sweater this morning.  

Unfortunately, my sweater is a bit scratchy. But look at what I’ve come up with:! I’m wearing my newest loop made of cotton and silk yarn. I stuffed it into the neck of the sweater. So comfortable, not itchy at all, just brilliant. 

I’m as happy as can be. As long as there are still little yarn balls in the basket, I’m knitting along. Can’t stop as I don’t want to put away the yarn. My pile of happiness. 

Der Frühling hat sich wieder zurückgezogen. Frischer Wind, nebelartige Wolken, eher graue Stimmung. Trotzdem gibt es untrügliche Zeichen von Frühling: grüne Wiesen, jede Menge Frühlingsblümchen.

Weil’s doch recht kühl ist, musste ich das Baumwollhemd durch einen Wollpullover ersetzen. Da er vor allem am Hals kratzt, trage ich meinen neusten Loop, gestrickt aus Baumwoll- Seidenresten, in den beissenden Halsausschnitt gestopft. So guet!

Solange es noch Wollknäuelchen hat, stricke ich dieses Wochenende gemütlich weiter. Halt, Haushalten, Einkaufen und Entsorgen inklusive.
