Heute habe ich leider keine Zeit zum Pläuschlen. Ich muss dringend dieses Geburtstagsgeschenk fertig stellen. Zum Glück ist es kühler geworden, da ist der Griff zur Wolle sowieso die richtige Entscheidung.

You never should complain about the heat in our parts of the world. A change of the weather usually means a serious drop of temperatures. Thank god, I’m ready for this inconvenience.
Wusste ich es doch! Das Wetter ändert und schwupps, trage ich wieder Wollsocken. Zum Glück war ich auf diese Ungemütlickeit vorbereitet. Ein solcher Temperatursturz wäre sonst unerträglich.

Dass mitten im Knäuelchen noch ein Papier steckt, hatte ich nicht erwartet. So wurde mir klar, dass das Gelb nicht reichen würde. Ich musste es strecken. Nach dem Börtchen habe ich eingesetzt und abwechselnd eine Runde gestrickt.
I had forgotten that inside the ball would be paper, and after the first sock was finished, I decided to improvise with a second colour to stretch the yellow.
Das Resultat sieht gar nicht mal so übel aus. Und gereicht hat das Knäuelchen bis auf ein kleines Schwänzchen.
I doesn’t look so bad, does it? Fortunately, the yarn lasted to the end. Just a tiny bit is left.
