Und plötzlich ging es ganz schnell: die Frühlingsferien sind da! Gleich zweimal konnte ich dieses Jahr mit den Schülern Ostereier färben, weshalb ich zwei Demo-Eier für mich habe.
Ich kann mich nicht mehr erinnern, wann ich zum ersten Mal mit Zwiebelschale gefärbt habe, aber seit damals wähle ich privat und in der Schule diese Methode, mit der weiland schon meine Grossmutter gearbeitet hat. Kostet nichts, ist nicht giftig und sieht gut aus. Dieses Jahr haben sich die Jugendlich ganz besonders Mühe gegeben; kein einziges Ei ist zerbrochen, alle Bildchen haben sich besonders schön abgezeichnet. Ein Erlebnis, für das ich dankbar bin.
And suddenly it happened very quickly: the spring holidays are here! I was able to colour Easter eggs with the pupils twice this year, which is why I have two demo eggs for myself.
I can’t remember the first time I dyed with onion skin, but ever since then I’ve been using this method, which my grandmother used back in the day, at home and at school. It costs nothing, is non-toxic and looks good. This year, the youngsters made a special effort; not a single egg broke and all the colouring turned out beautifully. An experience for which I am thankful.
