Schneeballschlacht — Snowball Fight

Ich finde, es wäre Zeit für ein bisschen Schnee, aber da liegt kein Millimeter auf den Wiesen. Aber was sind denn das für weisse Kugeln dort neben dem Birnbaum? Tatsächlich! Schneebälle.

I think it’s time for a little snow, but thee isn’t any at all. But what are those near the pear tree? I can’t believe it, they are snowballs!

Aus einem alten, wuscheligen Pullover (dazu leicht glitzerig und deshalb nicht ganz zu mir passend) sind die Schneebälle schnell zusammengeschnurpft. Man kann auch ausgediente Socken nehmen. Und so wirds gemacht.

They are made from an old fuzzy and glittery sweater (not at all my style) very easily. You can also make them from old white socks your children have outgrown or that need mending. And here I show pictures how it’s done. If you take socks, step one to three are not necessary.

Also sind wir jetzt parat für die Schneeballschlacht, wenn nicht draussen, so halt drinnen. Da geht garantiert nichts kaputt, denn die Schneebälle sind superweich, gefüllt mit Schnipseln des selben Pullovers. Übringens dünkt mich gerade, solche Bälle in allen Farben wären doch ein lustiger Zeitvertreib für Kind und Katz und Hund. Und s Kind hat bestimmt auch Spass am Zusammenschnurpfen des Spielzeugs. Ja, so ist Langeweile schnell vorbei.

Now we are ready for a snow ball fight, if not outside, inside. The snowballs are so soft, nothing will happen to the furniture and decoration. The snowballs are stuffed with snippets from the very same sweater. By the way, I’m positive that balls of all colours are a lovely and a fun game for child, cat and dog. The child will even have fun making the snowballs first.
