Ich wähle Bücher auch nach dem Aussehen. Dazu stelle ich mich in eine gewisse Distanz zum Büchergestell und picke raus, was mir ins Auge sticht. Dann lese ich selbstverständlich noch den Klappentext und eventuell eine beliebige Seite eher in der hinteren Mitte.
Kürzlich habe ich so drei Funde gemacht. Und heute lege ich den grauslichen Krimi mal beiseiten und lese etwas Beschaulicheres. Jana? Sophia? Oder Cristina?

I’ve bought three books recently. Second hand but flawless. I often buy books by the cover looking from a certain distance. Then I read the blurb, of course, and often one or two randomly picked pages.
Today I’m letting „Illuminati“ rest. I’m feeling more like something light. Jana? Sophia? Cristina? How fortunate I am to be able to choose from a trio of books.

meist verdienen sie nichtmal die bezeichnung „literatur“. ausnahmen bestätigen natürlich die regel 😀

Life has started tp be hectic again after the holidays. I find time to read before I fall asleep at night, about 10 to 20 pages ….
