Vom Ersten bis zum 30sten – April Past

Es war allerlei los im April.
Am ersten Tag des Monats hat er mit dem Geburtstag einer Freundin, die traditionellerweise eine Rüeblitorte geschenkt bekommt.
Dann war ich mit einer Freundin am Swiss Yarn Festival. Den grünen Knäuel hat sie mir aber vor dem Eintritt in die Lokalität geschenkt.
Im Garten konnte ich die ersten Kopfsalate ernten, bevor ich nach Italien zu den Vulkanen und Zitronen reiste. Schon grossartig, wenn man sich eine Zitrone frisch vom Baum pflücken kann. Stromboli bot einerseits Blick in klarstes Wasser, andrerseits romantische Sonnenungergänge und explosive Erlebnisse.
Von Vulcano habe ich das Bild der getöpferten Inselschönheit mitgebracht.
Gleich daneben gab es italienischen Espresso.
Vom einsetztenden Schneefall habe ich kein Bild gemacht. Dafür hatte die Stehaufgiraffe vollstes Verständnis für meine Schokoladeaufmunterungskur.
Vielleicht schon ein bisschen gewohnheitsmässig, aber auf keinen Fall langweilig, sind wieder diverse Sockenpaare entstanden.
Meine neuste Jeanshosenkreation trug ich am letzten Tag es Aprils zur Schau.

There was a lot going on in April.
The first day of the month started with a friend’s birthday, who traditionally receives a carrot cake as a gift.
Then I went to the Swiss Yarn Festival with a friend. She gave me the green ball of yarn before I entered the venue.
I was able to harvest the first lettuces in the garden before travelling to Italy to see the volcanoes and lemons. It’s great when you can pick a lemon fresh from the tree. Stromboli offered views of the clearest waters on the one hand, and romantic sunset and explosive experiences on the other.
From Vulcano, I brought back a picture of the island’s pottery beauty.
I had an Italian espresso right next to it.
I didn’t take a picture of the onset of snowfall. Instead, the standing giraffe was totally understanding of my chocolate cheering me up.
Perhaps a little habitual, but by no means boring, several pairs of socks were made again.
I showed off my latest jeans creation on the last day of April.
