100 Double Crochets – 100 Stäbchen

Es kommt ganz selten vor, dass ich etwas auftrenne und von vorne beginne. Aber gestern musste ich in den sauren Apfel beissen. Das Dreiecktuch, das ich für Barbara probehäkle, machte so gar keine Freude. Schuld daran ist meine Materialwahl. Die Wolle zu dünn, die Farben zu knallig, weil der Farbwechsel zu kurz war. Nach drei Stäbchen war schon die nächste Farbe da. Und dann hatte ich auch einen Fehler gemacht, der mich anfangs nur leicht, dann aber stark störte. Augen zu und rippel, rippel. Ist ja nicht so schlimm. Schon habe ich ein Paar Socken angeschlagen, denn als Arbeit zum Filme gucken eignen sie sich am besten. Zudem sind vier angefangene Sachen fertig geworden, so dass ich nicht in Gefahr gerate, wieder nervös zu werden.

Der schwarze Blumenponcho fertig gehäkelt. 

Meine Hauptarbeit ist noch bis Ende September die Probehäkelei. Schon bin ich mit der 16. Reihe fertig, das heisst, ich habe, wie vorgegeben, 100 Stäbchen gezählt.

It doesn’t often happen that I frog a project and start all over. But yesterday I had to bite the bullet. The shawl I’m test crocheting for Barbara wasn’t a pleasure at all. I blame the wrong choice of yarn, which is too thin and too bright. I could hardly make three double crochets until the next colour came up. And then, there was a mistake, that didn’t bug me that much at the beginning, but then … I took a deep breath and ripped the whole thing after 24 rows. I’ve already casted on a pair of socks because this is the perfect project while watching a movie. I’ve finished a few projects, so I am allowed to a new project without getting nervous again.

I’ve cut all the t-shirts into stripes and wound them up.

The 4 baby wests are finished and matched with t-shirts and jeans. 

I’ve also finishe the poncho with the black flowers. 

Therefore, my main focus is on the shawl until the end of September. I’ve already done row 16 and counted 100 double crochets. So long, so good.
