I don’t give up easily. I try and try and try. This one made me crazy, but finally I’ve won. A little bit of cheating is allowed, right? Nobody got hurt anyway.
Nein, aufgeben kann ich nicht so einfach. Ich versuche es nochmals, und nochmals und nochmals. Dieses Ding hat mich verrückt gemacht. Aber schliesslich habe ich doch gewonnen. Ein bisschen betrügen ist erlaubt, oder? Vorallem, weil’s ja niemandem weh tut.
First problem: Turning inside out. Sticky fabric, ugly corners …
Erstes Problem: Das Innere nach aussen wenden. Der Stoff ist aber so gar nicht rutschig. Die Ecken sahen zum Fürchten aus.
Second: The tie was too short (my fault, I didn’t do the maths). So I cut it in halves, thinking I would deal with the problem afterwards. Maybe sew in a piece of fabric …
Zweites: Die Schleife war zu kurz (zu wenig genau gerechnet). Ich schnitt sie in der Mitte entzwei (Fehler!), dachte, dass ich mich mit diesem Problem später beschäftigen würde. Vielleicht ein Stückchen Stoff einsetzen?
Third problem: How to tie the bow. I used a youtube video but right is left and left is right. So I got crazy again.
Drittes Problem: Wie wird überhaupt eine Fliege gebunden? Im Youtube Kanal wurde ich fündig, aber wenn rechts links ist und links recht, habe ich so meine Probleme. Zum verrückt werden.
Then after trying and trayin again, I had a proper bow (do not ask me how I did it) but the tie was too long. I had to cut again.
Versuch, Versuch, Versuch. Endlich hatte ich eine sauber gebundene Fliege, aber die Schleife war zu lang. Ich musste noch einmal zur Schere greifen.
Finally with the help of a press button (bow-experts may call it cheating, but I don’t care at all), the bow looks good to me.
Fliegen-Experten mögen es als Fake bezeichnen. Mit ist das egal. Die Fliege sieht in meinen Augen gut aus.
