Dieses Jahr bin ich definitiv viel zu spät mit den Geburtstagsgeschenke für meine Söhne, deren Geburtstage Ende Juni immer mit dem Schulschlussstress zusammenfallen. Aber ich hoffe, sie haben auch an einem verspäteten Päckli Freude. Lieber spät als nie. Eventuell haben sie sogar mehr Freude daran, ein Päckli zu bekommen als am Inhalt des Päcklis, obwohl selbstgemacht einen gewissen Wert hat.
I’m too late with the birthday presents for my sons. Life got into the way as always at the end of the school year. However, better late than never. I hope they will enjoy having a parcel in the mail sometime in the next days. They may even have more pleasure to get a parcel than seeing what is in the parcel. Although a handmade present has a specific value (there is much love in it), an unusual present an ever higher value.
Die Idee mit den selbstgenähten Fliegen fand ich also gerade zur richtigen Zeit.
Auch wenn die Geburtstagsparty schon vorbei ist, ergibt sich sicher bald mal wieder ein Gelegenheit. Für festliche und währschafte Feiern seid ihr jetzt gerüstet. Das passende Hemd habt ihr bestimmt.
