I guess you all know the feeling of creating JUST NOW. I didn’t want to drive into town to buy material. Each minute I could not make what I had in mind was painful. So I started looking through all I had at home. I didn’t find a wooden frame but sturdy cardboard boxes in the cellar. This was even better because I could punch holes instead of drilling them. I cut the frame, painted it black as the darkes night in winter.
Eventually, I decorated the frame with glimmer and turned it into a sparkling sky. I feel that this little angel is going to stay in our living room all year long. We most certainly are in need of angels, aren’t we?
O wow, she is adorable!!! Great instant project!
Thank you for linking up @ Busy Fingers!

I love this… it’s an idea I will give to my children next time they want to try some new craft 🙂
I just saw about the same idea with an easter egg (broken top) and the head of a chick.
Cute!
That is so pretty and dainty !
What a great ‚MakeDo‘ Project. My grandmother always said ‚MakeDo and Mend’…it’s a saying from the 1940’s when women did exactly that. You are an expert at Make Do with this weaving project…it turned out so nice, and is definately something to leave out year round. Thank you for stopping by CollectInTexas Gal and commenting on my Christmas Quilt. I’ve browsed around your blog, and very much enjoyed your Stricken/Knitting….I’ve learned a new word…stricken…quite appropriate for getting hooked on knitting. LOL!!!
Da fällt mir nur Z*A*U*B*E*R*H*A*F*T* dazu ein!
Liebe Grüsse
Carmen

Oh Regula, how do you come up with these things? She is beautiful! You are the most creative person. 🙂
Regula, your creativity is amazing. She is absolutely darling.
Well done,
Meredith
Beautiful! I love that you created her with what you had on hand, Regula. You must keep her on display all year round – most definitely!
Thanks so much for joining in this week!

Tolle Idee, wirklich!
