Hermie und Lilly – Monster Man and Monster Lady

I told you that Hermie was looking for a spouse. And he is more than happy, thrilled even, to introduce Lilly, his lovely companion for the rest of his live. She also is madly in love with Hermie. 

Na, zuviel versprochen? Hermie hat eine Frau gefunden und ist überglücklich, euch seine Lilly vorzustellen. Sie ist ebenfalls sehr verliebt in Hermie. Wir wünschen den beiden Glück für den gemeinsamen Lebensweg.

Isn’t she just perfect? Here are the stitch-counts so you know how to knit your own Monster Lady. The two pieces are identical. Cast on some more stiches (2 to 3), knit some more rows (2 to 3) and you have the measures for the Monster Man. Adjust as you like! 

Ist sie nicht perfect? Eine richtige Modellfigur hat sie. Damit ihr sie nachstricken könnt, seht ihr im Bild die Maschenzahlen und was es sonst noch für Angeben gibt. 2 bis 3 Maschen oder Nadeln mehr, und ihr habt Monster Man gestrickt. Anpassungen sind natürlich immer möglich.

 

I took 4.5 mm needles as the yarn indicates. Hermie and Lilly turned out about 24 cm high. Be creative when it comes to the face and hair-do, but be patient. I needed three turns to get them they way I wanted them.

Ich habe 4.5 mm Nadeln passend zur Restenwolle verwendet. Hermie und Lilly sind rund 24 cm hoch geworden. Für das Gesicht und die Haare braucht es ein bisschen Geduld. Erst nach dem dritten Versuch war ich zufrieden.

Es schneit wie wild, und ich weiss noch nicht, ob ich so mutig bin wie Hermie und Lilly

und mich ins Schneegestöber hinaus wage.
